Oil Snares

Usually an emergency response item however some organizations install them "proactively" in certain situations, where there is potential for heavy oil leaking into a waterway. Snares are designed specifically for effective recovery of heavy oils such as Bunker "C". They will recover 20-60 times their own weight, depending on the viscosity. Available as single snares or 30 snares on a 50' rope. Can be dropped into spill from boats, helicopters, etc..
